Here is what we did last month, we attended the Eco Fashion Event via Zoom, "What makes fashion eco in 2020 and beyond?". Since the hit of Covid-19, the global pandemic has caused a digital wave in society. Most of us have had to choose digital life whilst instructed to stay at home. This was the same situation for the event we attended in December. It was based in our living room as we have to change our social circle to suit the current changes. This was a great way for us to learn more about the consumer and sustainability, we thought we would share some of the knowledge we gained.
- Use the list until it becomes apart of your day
- Shopping in a rated way like a five-star hotel rating system
- Wellbeing investing to your self, take a conscious and considered step or approach looking from within
- Knowing your values, conscious decisions before clicking or walking into a shop; preach self-care and loving your self
- Looking at the journey as an opportunity to change, try clearing out the unnecessary, other ways of targeting sustainability
- How it will benefit the brand, altering clothes for other brands, to stop the rate of returns
- Focus on the longevity of clothing as well for marketing
- Waste and resources the graveness of the situation, think about your fashion choice
- Investing in being a part of a future that is going to change
- Remember, it's making a difference a part of a collective movement, and years later it is having an impact
- The power of emergence: Knowing that it is happening even though you can’t see it happening
